The makeover was completed by the ingenious folks at Neumann Mendro Andrulaitis Architects along with the help of of Allen and Associates and it combines the timeless elegance of the classical structure with contemporary comfort and ergonomics.
The street façade of the large private residence still retains its original look and it is only on the inside that one uncovers a more contemporary backdrop. The lovely use of windows skylights and of course recessed and pendant lighting add to the glitter and warmth of the family house that seems like a relaxing holiday retreat.
Even the kitchen workstation and island reflect this sense of minimalism as they shun away any excess and blend into the background seamlessly. Shelves and cabinets seem to melt away into the backdrop even as the fabulous pendant lights above the dining table steal the spotlight!
