Every little detail inside the cabin is crafted to ensure that the atmosphere is as informal and serene as possible while remaining true to the classic woodsy cabin style. Pops of green yellow and blue add excitement and bring out the cool architectural features in each room with simplicity being the key focal point.
A more open floor plan replaced the traditional interior that was burdened with unnecessary partitions to create a cheerful and pleasant ambiance indoors. A revamp in the style of the new guest bathroom family bathroom master bedroom and children’s bedrooms completes the makeover that still retains much of the original flavor of the classic British structure despite the fresh ergonomic skin.
Features such as parquet flooring moldings and mirrors still leave much of the original flavor intact while the new roof deck neutral color palette contemporary décor and an open floor plan bring in the much needed excitement and class. Spread across five different floors the existing partitions between various rooms on each floor were removed to shape a breezier interior filled with natural light.
Even in the kids’ room it is only décor and toys that bring in pops of bright color to an otherwise neutral backdrop and this theme continues into the master bedroom and bathrooms as well.
Designed by Schulberg Demkiw Architects the acquired a new sparkling interior that flows into the rear family area containing an expansive deck and refreshing pool. Blurring the lines between the exterior and the indoors this modern makeover gives the home a more cheerful appeal while allowing its denizens to spend more time outdoors.
