Who wouldn’t love to call a grand contemporary villa overlooking the beach or the distant mountains their home? But most often it is economic constraints that define our home its overall ambiance and the décor that fills it.
Part of a building that was originally designed in early 1900s the entire structure was in need of a cheerful makeover that found the precise balance between urban refinement and the existing old world charm.
A more open floor plan replaced the traditional interior that was burdened with unnecessary partitions to create a cheerful and pleasant ambiance indoors. A revamp in the style of the new guest bathroom family bathroom master bedroom and children’s bedrooms completes the makeover that still retains much of the original flavor of the classic British structure despite the fresh ergonomic skin.
A beautiful conversion and renovation project the in was transformed from a 1950s ranch-style bungalow into a gorgeous modern home with a distinct midcentury vibe. The makeover was completed by the ingenious folks at Neumann Mendro Andrulaitis Architects along with the help of of Allen and Associates and it combines the timeless elegance of the classical structure with contemporary comfort and ergonomics.
In order to reach the entrance residents and visitors cross a bridge that traverses a moat surrounding the residence. Reconstructed on various occasions the present building’s oldest section dates from the baroque architectural period in 1670.
